As your Senator, I will push for local control over entitlement programs to reduce waste and fraud. I will stand up for farmers and ranchers by working to eliminate the harmful EPA regulations that have hurt them without benefiting the environment. Lee Muns is a lifelong resident of the Augusta area, currently residing in Harlem, Georgia. A husband, father of five, and grandfather to ten, Lee brings over 35 years of experience in industrial construction, specializing in power generation, fabrication, and infrastructure. He began his career as a pipefitter apprentice at the Savannah River Site and went on to found multiple successful businesses, including Muns Welding and Mechanical, Inc. and Muns Services, LLC.
I Despite industry setbacks, Lee’s resilience and leadership allowed him to rebuild and continue serving Georgia’s industrial sector with integrity and expertise. He has held both elected and appointed public office, including as a Columbia County Board of Education member and Vice Chair of the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
